Site Supervisor – Insurance builder

A well-established construction and insurance restoration contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage and deliver multiple small-to-medium projects across the region. This role suits a proactive supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating trades, maintaining quality, and keeping projects moving.

The Role
You will be responsible for supervising construction and insurance repair projects from site handover through to completion. This includes coordinating trades, managing safety and compliance, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Projects range from residential through to commercial and insurance-based remediation works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple small-to-medium construction and insurance repair projects concurrently
  • Coordinate, supervise, and support subcontractors, trades, and suppliers onsite
  • Conduct regular site inspections to validate scope, identify risks, and flag variations early
  • Schedule works, order materials, and maintain momentum across all projects
  • Ensure all works comply with WHS legislation, SWMS, and site safety requirements
  • Prepare Site Safety Plans and conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Capture site photos, documentation, and accurate progress reports
  • Provide clear communication and updates to clients, insurers, and internal teams
  • Resolve onsite issues quickly and professionally to minimise delays
  • Drive quality control and ensure all rectification works meet required standards
  • Support estimators with site validations and scope confirmations when required
  • Maintain accurate project records within required systems and portals

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within insurance building and restoration construction
  • Strong trade coordination and scheduling capability
  • Solid understanding of repair methodologies, defect rectification, and insurance-style scopes of works
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload across multiple active jobs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Trade qualification in building or construction (preferred)
  • White Card and strong knowledge of WHS compliance
  • Full, unrestricted driver licence and reliable transport
