An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Account Manager / Technical Sales Representative to join a well-established Brisbane-based operation. This role suits a driven sales professional with strong technical aptitude who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage an established customer base while actively developing new business opportunities across the region as well as back up the Branch with face-to-face over the counter sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of key customer accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
  • Provide technical advice and product-based solutions to customers
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations and sales proposals
  • Conduct regular customer visits and site meetings
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs aligned with business objectives
  • Work closely with internal sales, service, and operational teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
  • Report back to Branch and assist with overflow face to face Branch Sales

About You Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in technical sales or account management (hydraulic knowledge preferred, would consider building materials sales, electrical or plumbing sales experience)
  • Background in hydraulics, industrial tools, electrical, mechanical, or related industries highly regarded
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Permanent Australian working rights
