We are working with a highly respected Brisbane commercial builder with more than 20 years of success delivering quality commercial developments across South East Queensland. Privately owned and financially secure, the business has built its reputation on repeat clients, exceptional workmanship and a collaborative team culture. They specialise in office, warehouse, industrial and bespoke commercial developments, taking pride in delivering projects that exceed client expectations.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join the team.
The Role Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of projects from award through to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Projects typically include:

• Industrial facilities
• Office developments
• Warehouses and distribution centres
• Commercial refurbishments
• Design & Construct projects

You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams, maintaining the strong relationships the business has become known for.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and procurement.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead project financials including forecasting, cost control and reporting.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, QA and environmental requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Site Managers to ensure successful project delivery.

About You To be successful you will ideally have:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager with a commercial builder.
• Proven experience delivering industrial, commercial or office projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and financial management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant Construction Management, Building or Engineering qualification.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail.
