The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity exists for a Civil Design Engineer with proven 12d experience to join a leading Melbourne-based engineering consultancy. Working within a high-performing civil team, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of land development & other projects from initial concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare civil engineering designs and documentation using 12d.
• Design roads, intersections, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure.
• Produce engineering reports, calculations and supporting technical documentation.
• Coordinate with developers, councils, service authorities and project stakeholders.
• Assist with planning permit, engineering approval and authority submission processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Deliver projects in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, council requirements and industry best practice.
• Support project delivery from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Identify innovative and practical engineering solutions to meet client requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality technical standards across the business.
  
Experience & Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3-6 years’ experience in civil design within the Australian land development sector.
• Strong proficiency with 12d software.
• Experience designing roads, drainage, earthworks and associated civil infrastructure.
• Understanding of Victorian council standards, authority requirements and local design practices.
• A team orientated & collaborative engineer who is passionate about the industry and the work they produce 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
