A well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the business and play a key role in delivering major structural steel projects across Adelaide.

This is a newly created position with a strong pipeline of secured work, including high-profile projects.

We’re looking for someone with energy, initiative and the ability to lead from the front. This role will suit a Supervisor who enjoys being on site, solving problems, building teams and driving outcomes rather than sitting behind a desk.

The Role Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for:

• Leading structural steel erection and rigging activities on site
• Managing crews of up to 10 personnel, including riggers and subcontractors
• Coordinating crane operations, steel deliveries and site logistics
• Assisting with project mobilisation and methodology planning
• Liaising with builders, engineers, site managers and subcontractors
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Building and developing site teams as project workloads increase
• Initially focused on major Adelaide projects before progressing across multiple sites

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:

• Experience within structural steel erection, rigging, cranes or heavy construction
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the best out of site crews
• Experience working closely with builders, subcontractors and project teams
• A proactive approach and the ability to solve problems on the run
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• Knowledge of safe work practices, lifting operations and site management

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a genuine “can-do” attitude who can take ownership, work through challenges and keep projects moving.
