S&you has partnered with a Nation-wide civil construction company, specialising in the protection and remediation of steel and concrete structures that completes projects of Tier 1 – Tier 2 scale.

Our client has an extensive portfolio of completed projects. This particular company has a proven track record in successful project delivery and the ability to meet a range of needs to achieve its corporate objectives. Their projects include, but not limited to, the following sectors: Defence, Rebuilds, Refurbishments and Operations. 

Note: This role is only available for candidates with PR or Citizenship. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop bid content
  • Write and edit proposal documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with tender requirements
  • Conduct research to support bid development, including market analysis and competitor assessments
  • Manage the bid process from initiation to submission, coordinating inputs from various team members
  • Review and refine proposal templates and content libraries to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Liaise with clients and subcontractors to gather necessary information and clarify requirements
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Duratec’s services, capabilities, and value proposition

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer or similar role in the construction or engineering industry
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, persuasive content under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on ensuring compliance with tender specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tender processes and documentation, including RFTs, RFQs, and EOIs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, English, Business, or a related field (desirable)
