Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Branch Manager to lead the operations at their busy Wingfield branch.
About the Role
As the Branch Manager, you will take full accountability for the branch’s day-to-day performance, leading a team across hire operations, sales, logistics, and yard coordination. You’ll drive operational efficiency, team engagement, and customer satisfaction — ensuring your branch continues to exceed targets and supports the broader national operation.
This is a leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong operational acumen, and understands the importance of reliable, on-site temporary works solutions for civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L and operational responsibility for the branch
- Manage all inbound hire/sales enquiries across phone, counter and online
- Lead a team of hire controllers, drivers, yard hands, and support staff
- Oversee daily delivery and pickup scheduling, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Monitor and report on daily KPIs and branch performance
- Work closely with internal transport, sales, and warehouse teams to meet client needs
- Provide quotations, technical advice, and support to customers
- Ensure best-in-class customer service, with a strong focus on relationship building
- Develop team capability through mentoring and coaching
- Collaborate with other branches to optimise fleet and product utilisation
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing a branch or operational site (civil construction or hire experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hire equipment or temporary works (props, shoring, bracing, etc.)
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading small to medium teams
- Ability to quote, process orders, and manage multiple client accounts
- Strong coordination skills and ability to manage logistics effectively
- A commercial mindset with a commitment to safety, service, and team culture
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Guide: $120,000 – $140,000 + Super + Company Vehicle
- Negotiable based on experience
