My client is a safety equipment hire company primarily within the civil and construction industry.

They are a solution-based business that works closely with our clients when it comes to supplying equipment that manages hazards on their projects, supplying dust, noise, ventilation & fumes products for hire.

Newly created role – opportunity use your new business development sales to eventually setup entire Branch and build your team.

 
Qualifications & experience
 

  • Strong new business development skills promoting products on the road selling into the construction industry will be highly regarded.
  • Hire equipment experience is preferred however not essential
  • Product knowledge is not required; product training will be provided.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and basic Excel is required.
  • The successful candidate must have a can-do attitude with the willingness to be a part of a team and is willing to help across all facets of the business.

 
 
Tasks & responsibilities

  • Entering of contracts and actioning daily Branch KPI reports.
  • On the road Sales rep, calling on civil and construction companies to educate and promote Hazards and Safety products, dust, noise, ventilation & fume control products coupled with Branch Management.
  • Managing existing customer base.
  • Responsible for managing hire/sales enquiries, providing customer quotations, allocations of deliveries and pickups (internal and external transport), ensuring daily run/day sheets and required documents are completed, liaising with drivers and yard hands.
  • Problem solving with customers on their projects, you will be solution-based selling.
  • Assisting the branch in the workshop when required.
  • Looking for new opportunities for the product range as well as opportunities to solve further problems within the industry.
  • Ability to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty including assisting with site installation when required

Salary guide: $100-130k+super+car aligned with skills & experience
