The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a well-established Victorian multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across civil engineering, land development, infrastructure, structural design, town planning, building design, landscape architecture and construction services.

The team is delivering a strong pipeline of work across:

• Land development estates
•  growth corridor projects
• Road and drainage projects
• Sewer and water design
• Wetlands and drainage infrastructure
• Civil design packages for challenging multidisciplinary building projects

This role would suit either an Intermediate Civil Design Engineer ready to take on more responsibility, or a Senior Civil Design Engineer looking for a stable consultancy environment with strong project variety and genuine long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Civil design for land development and infrastructure projects
• 12D / Civil 3D modelling and civil design documentation
• Road and drainage design
• Sewer and water design
• Earthworks and grading
• Functional layout plans
• Stormwater and drainage design
• Supporting design packages from concept through to construction documentation
• Preparing and coordinating authority submissions
• Liaising with councils, water authorities and project stakeholders
• Working closely with engineers, designers, planners, surveyors and other internal disciplines
• Contributing to a collaborative and quality-focused design environment

About You:

• Civil design experience within an Australian engineering consultancy
• Strong 12D or Civil 3D also considered 
• Experience across land development and/or civil infrastructure projects
• Road, drainage, sewer and water design exposure
• Understanding of Victorian design standards and local authority requirements
• Relevant civil engineering qualification
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• A practical and detail-focused approach to design delivery
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
