An established national insurance builder is looking to appoint multiple Supervisors to oversee repair and reconstruction works across the Gold Coast, Brisbane regions.
 
This role will suit someone with a solid background in construction supervision who is comfortable managing multiple jobs at once, working closely with trades, clients and internal teams, and driving projects through to completion safely, on time and within budget.
 
About the role
 
You will take ownership of a portfolio of insurance reinstatement projects ranging from smaller repair works through to more complex residential and commercial claims. You will be responsible for keeping projects moving, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a high level of service is delivered throughout the process.
 
Key responsibilities

  • Oversee site-based delivery of multiple repair and rebuild projects
  • Engage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare scopes of works and project schedules
  • Monitor job progress, quality and completion timeframes
  • Manage budgets and track project profitability
  • Provide accurate forecasting and completion updates
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with WHS requirements
  • Work with internal procurement teams to onboard new trades and suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers and subcontractors deliver in line with purchase orders, scopes and quoted works

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a Supervisor role within construction, repairs or reinstatement works
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial building practices
  • Experience managing several projects at the same time
  • Ability to read scopes, manage budgets and keep projects on programme
  • Confident communicator who can deal with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers
  • Good working knowledge of WHS requirements, building codes and Australian standards
  • Estimating experience within building repairs will be highly regarded
  • Insurance building experience is advantageous
  • Trade background or Certificate IV in Building and Construction is highly desirable
