S&you has partnered with a Nation-wide civil construction company, specialising in the protection and remediation of steel and concrete structures that completes projects of Tier 1 – Tier 2 scale.

  • Ongoing projects in the Operations / Defence space

Our client has an extensive portfolio of completed projects. This particular company has a proven track record in successful project delivery and the ability to meet a range of needs to achieve its corporate objectives. Their projects include, but not limited to, the following sectors: Defence, Rebuilds, Refurbishments and Operations. 

Note: This role is only available for candidates with PR or Citizenship. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing models using Company productivity data, industry norms, and historical data
  • Prepare clear scopes of works and tender documentation.
  • Conduct site visits as needed
  • Submit tender clarifications promptly
  • Document and address subcontractor and supplier submissions
  • Perform commercial, risk, and profitability reviews
  • Provide comprehensive tender handover documentation
  • Contribute to the development of the National subcontractor and supplier base
  • Implement transparent pricing mechanisms

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ recent Estimator/Quantity Surveyor experience in Australian Construction
  • Formal Quantity Surveying qualifications desired but not required
  • Demonstrated skills in managing client and supplier relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven Bid Management experience, ensuring tender compliance
  • Sound understanding of Australian and client standards for estimate compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera experience desirable
  • White Card and Driver’s License required
  • Comprehensive grasp of risk management and cost appropriation
