Join a well-established and growing building repairs business delivering large-scale commercial insurance projects across South East Queensland. Based out of Brisbane, this role focuses on managing major loss works on-site, overseeing complex rebuilds and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone experienced in commercial construction who can take control of site operations and drive outcomes across high-value projects.
The role
You will be responsible for supervising major commercial loss projects from site, coordinating trades, managing daily site activities and ensuring works are delivered in line with scope, program and budget. You will act as the key point of contact on-site, working closely with Project Managers, clients, insurers and subcontractors.
You will play a critical role in maintaining safety, quality and progress across multiple large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across major commercial projects
• Coordinate and manage trades, subcontractors and suppliers on-site
• Ensure works are delivered in line with scope, timelines and budgets
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Drive compliance with WHS requirements and site safety procedures
• Manage site logistics, sequencing and programming of works
• Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track
• Maintain quality control and ensure all works meet required standards
• Liaise with clients, insurers and consultants throughout delivery

About you
You will have strong experience supervising commercial construction projects, ideally within insurance repairs or major loss environments. You are confident managing large sites, coordinating multiple trades and keeping projects moving under pressure.
You’re a hands-on leader who communicates well, builds strong relationships on-site, and takes ownership of delivery.
Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on commercial construction projects
• Experience managing large-scale or complex builds
• QLD Site Supervisor Licence or Builder’s Licence
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and site management
• Ability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities
• Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and site safety
• Experience working with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Insurance repair or major loss experience highly regarded
• Trade background (Carpentry or similar) desirable
