  • Position: Production Planner and Warehousing Admin 
  • Salary: $65-75k + super (depending on experience)
  • Location: Preston, VIC
  • Duration: Permanent 
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday – 9AM to 5PM OR 10AM to 6PM 
  • ASAP Start

Position:

It is a cross functional role across Production Planning and Warehousing with full training and support to be provided.

Working closely with the Planning and Warehouse Managers to provide support across various functions within the teams. This is a new role the client has created within the business to provide support and assistance with the roll out of the new Warehousing and Production planning system. 

Responsibilities: 

These responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks related to inventory management, production coordination with other departments, and ensuring smooth operations within the planning warehouse and supply chain.

Key responsibilities 

  • Forecasting and Planning Production over a 4 – 6 week period
  • Updating and maintaining the production plan daily and planning production orders to be complete in time with customer requirements.
  • Being actively involved in strategic supply chain and production management activities within the business. 
  • Product & inventory maintenance and assistance
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on Production and Warehouse activity.
  • Update inventory records to reflect new stock arrivals, dispatches, and adjustments.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years proven experience as a Planning Administrator or similar role is essential
  • Planning and forecasting experience is essential. 
  • Previous experience in a FOOD manufacturing environment is essential
  • Excellent understanding of Planning Management procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
