We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a well-established remedial building and facades contractor in Adelaide.
 
This role will initially support a $4.5M cladding replacement project
 
The project has recently commenced on site and is already well set up, with strong project support in place.
This is a live hospital environment, so the role requires someone who is confident, calm, professional and able to manage a sensitive stakeholder group, including government and health-sector representatives.
 
The Role
 
You will take responsibility for managing a key cladding replacement project while also supporting other remedial projects across the business.
 
The main project will require approximately three days per week, with the balance of your time allocated across other live remedial building, façade and asset remediation works.
You will be supported by a full-time Site Engineer, dedicated Contract Administrator and an experienced Site Manager already in place.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of a $4.5M cladding replacement project
• Coordinate project planning, programming, reporting and delivery
• Work closely with the Site Manager, Site Engineer and CA
• Liaise with clients, consultants, government stakeholders and health-sector representatives
• Manage project costs, variations, subcontractors and programme requirements
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to a high standard
• Maintain strong communication across all project stakeholders
• Support delivery of additional remedial projects across the business
• Drive project outcomes while working in a live, sensitive hospital environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
• Background in remedial building, façades, cladding, construction or asset remediation
• Cladding experience will be highly regarded
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in live operational environments
• Commercially aware with strong subcontractor and programme management skills
• Comfortable working across multiple projects
• Strong focus on safety, quality and client outcomes
• Adelaide-based or willing to work locally in South Australia
