Insurance Building Repairs
$120,000 – $150,000 + super + vehicle
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee insurance repair projects across West Brisbane, Ipswich and the broader Brisbane region.
This role would suit someone who has come from an insurance building, construction, restoration or repairs background and is confident managing projects, trades, clients and internal teams from start to finish.
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of insurance repair projects, ensuring works are scoped, planned, coordinated and delivered to a high standard. You will be responsible for managing timeframes, budgets, stakeholder communication, trade performance, quality and project outcomes.
This is a hands-on project management role where communication, organisation and accountability are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple insurance repair projects from approval through to completion
- Coordinate supervisors, trades, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Review scopes, repair methodology, costs and timelines
- Manage project budgets, variations and commercial outcomes
- Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, homeowners and trades
- Monitor quality, safety, job progress and customer outcomes
- Resolve project issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure documentation, updates and reporting are accurate
- Drive projects through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Project Manager within insurance building, repairs, restoration or construction
- Strong understanding of residential and/or light commercial building repairs
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages
- Strong commercial awareness around budgets, variations and delivery timeframes
- Confident dealing with clients, insurers, trades and homeowners
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- QBCC licence or trade/building background highly regarded
- West Brisbane or Ipswich location preferred, but broader Brisbane considered
