Sales Estimator -Residential

Shape the front end of high-quality residential projects as a Sales Estimator with real influence. You’ll take the lead on tenders and pricing for custom homes, multi-residential builds, and boutique commercial developments, working directly with decision-makers in a business that backs expertise, precision, and initiative.
  
Our client is a long-standing construction company with a hands-on leadership team and a solid reputation for quality. You’ll work directly with the operations manager, owning the front end of each project and helping shape outcomes from the first quote.

Salary: $130-140k + super
Location: Marden, SA
  
Requirements:

• Experienced in custom homes and multi residential sales estimations
• Proficiency in Databuild or similar construction estimating software is essential
• Strong understanding of residential construction pricing, tendering, and quoting processes
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience maintaining estimating workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess and mitigate project risk
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end preparation and submission of detailed BOQs and sales tenders
• Source, review and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing
• Prepare itemised formal quotations for custom home and multi-residential projects
• Apply appropriate margin structures and conduct thorough risk assessments during the tender process
• Maintain and update internal pricing systems and Excel-based estimating workflows
• Identify and implement improvements to estimation systems and procedures
