Purpose of the Position:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, and supporting overall sales growth in the Australian market. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or industrial equipment, and will contribute to the company’s continued expansion by delivering outstanding service and achieving sales targets.

Some travel involved mainly in VIC.

Oversee a team including Marketing, Internal Sales & Service Techs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  2. Lead and motivate dealers and sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  5. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  6. Lead marketing and engineering team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
  7. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  8. Continuously assess and improve sales processes and procedures.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  11. Ensure post-sale follow-up and contribute to client retention initiatives.

Key Communications:

  1. Internal communication with senior management, dealer network, marketing, and other relevant departments.
  2. External communication with clients, partners, suppliers, industry associations and the dealer network.

Accountability:

  1. Responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and support.
  3. Accountable for the overall performance and results of the sales team and dealer network.
  4. Uphold accountability for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  5. Manage marketing team to align on promotional strategies, campaigns, and lead generation activities.

General / Special Requirements:

  1. 3–4 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in technical, machinery, or industrial sectors.
  2. Generates leads through social media network
  3. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the technology sector.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  6. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  7. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  8. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  9. Demonstrated track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  10. Willingness to travel as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. In-depth understanding of sales techniques and methodologies.
  2. Knowledge of the technology industry and market trends.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  7. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  9. A strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of an organization.
  10. Ability to oversee and guide a team
  11. Self-starter

Prior experience with machinery, CNC, laser cutting, or automation technologies is a plus. Exposure to dealer/distributor networks is beneficial.

Salary guide $110-130k+super+car aligned with skills and experience.
