Senior Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Manage, oversee and mentor a team of 2-3 Accountants
• Provide business and taxation compliance services to clients.
• Prepare financial accounts and ensure tax compliance.
• Use your hands on experience and initiative to add value to clients’ 
• Take responsibility for the time management of assigned jobs, ensuring cost-efficient completion.
• Liaise with Client Managers to address missing information and resolve general queries.
• Use your strong tax planning experience including staying abreast on ATO legislation etc

What We’re Looking For:

• Preferred experience working with one of the BIG 4 Accounting firms in Australia.
• CPA/CA qualification, or in progress.
• Strong background in business services and taxation.
• Proven experience mentoring & manage a team of Accountants is preferred.
• High proficiency in working with accounting software ie Xero & MYOB.
• Experience working with key internal and external stakeholders interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Australian Permanent Residency and local experience ideally 5 years +
