Senior Project Manager – Remediation & Facades

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to step into a leadership role while still remaining hands-on with project delivery?

This is an opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor delivering complex facade remediation, cladding replacement, heritage restoration, and building refurbishment projects across Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of secured work and ambitious growth plans, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the division.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects while helping mentor and develop other Project Managers within the team.

Projects typically include:
• High-rise facade and cladding replacement projects
• Heritage restoration and building refurbishment works
• Defence and government assets
• Building remediation and structural upgrade projects
• Project values ranging from $1M to $20M+

This role would suit someone coming from a Tier 1, Tier 2 or specialist contractor environment who enjoys delivering technically challenging projects but is looking for better work-life balance, flexibility and a less corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end delivery of remediation and facade projects
• Develop and manage project programs
• Financial management, forecasting and cost control
• Client and stakeholder management
• Subcontractor procurement and management
•Variations, claims and contract administration
• Site safety and quality compliance
• Technical problem solving and project coordination
• Tendering and estimating support
• Mentoring and developing junior project staff

About You
• 5-10+ years’ Project Management experience within construction
• Experience delivering facade, remediation, refurbishment or building envelope projects
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
• Comfortable working across both office and site environments
• Tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering or Project Management preferred
• Strong leadership capability with the ambition to help grow a business unit
