A well-established insurance building and restoration business is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Brisbane team.
 
This role would suit a construction professional with a strong trade background and proven experience managing insurance repair, restoration or residential building projects from assessment through to completion.
You will oversee a range of domestic insurance repair projects, working closely with homeowners, insurers, trades, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
 
About the Role
 
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple insurance repair and restoration projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
 
You will coordinate trades, review scopes, manage budgets and timelines, communicate with key stakeholders and ensure each project progresses smoothly from initial planning through to final completion.
 
This is a varied role with a strong mix of site coordination, customer communication, contractor management and commercial control.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurance repair and restoration projects from commencement through to completion
• Appoint, coordinate and oversee internal trades, subcontractors and restoration specialists
• Review scopes, reports, costs and project documentation
• Build strong working relationships with homeowners, insurance partners and internal support teams
• Monitor site progress to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Coordinate labour, materials, access requirements and subcontractor attendance
• Identify project risks, delays or variations and resolve issues proactively
• Maintain clear communication with clients, insurers, trades and internal stakeholders
• Ensure all works are completed in line with quality, safety and compliance requirements
• Manage project updates, documentation, reporting and handover requirements
• Provide guidance and support to site teams and contractors where required

About You
 
You will be an experienced Project Manager with strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple live projects at once.
 
You will bring:

• Proven experience managing insurance repair, restoration, residential or construction projects
• Strong trade background or hands-on construction knowledge
• Ability to manage trades, subcontractors and suppliers effectively
• Strong understanding of project budgets, timelines, scopes and variations
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence working with homeowners, insurers and internal teams
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while being part of a broader team
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Construction White Card
• Ability to complete required background or criminal history checks
