Join a growing and well-established building repairs business delivering domestic and commercial projects across South East Queensland. Based out of the Brisbane office, this role offers the chance to step into a fast-paced environment where you’ll manage multiple repair projects from scope through to completion.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who understands the construction process, can coordinate trades effectively, and knows how to keep jobs moving while maintaining quality, safety and client service.
 
The role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of repair projects across domestic and commercial sites, ensuring works are delivered on time, on budget and to the required standard. You will prepare and review scopes of work, coordinate trades and suppliers, monitor project schedules, track progress and provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety requirements, permit obligations, building codes and Australian standards.
This role will suit someone who can juggle competing priorities, solve problems on the run, and build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers.
 
Key responsibilities

• Compile and deliver detailed scopes of work
• Plan, schedule and manage multiple repair projects at once
• Coordinate trades and suppliers to meet project deadlines
• Ensure works are completed in line with budgets and profitability targets
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate updates
• Drive compliance with WHS requirements and company safety procedures
• Source new trades and suppliers where required
• Forecast project completion dates and keep delivery on track
• Maintain quality across all works from start to finish

About you

You will bring solid experience supervising domestic and commercial construction or repair projects and be confident managing multiple live jobs at once. You will have a strong understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit requirements and WHS obligations. Experience estimating building repairs and working closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors will be highly regarded.
To be successful, you will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to keep projects moving in a busy environment.
 
Requirements

• Strong experience in construction supervision across domestic and commercial repairs
• QLD Site Supervisor Licence or Builder’s Licence
• Experience estimating building repair works
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of building codes, Australian standards and WHS requirements
• Insurance repair experience highly regarded
• Trade background in Carpentry is desirable but not essential
